Hydrogen Chloride
Air Liquide manufactures hydrogen chloride pure gas to be used in a variety of chemical manufacturing (rubber and vinyl) applications and laboratory applications, and is available with up to 99.9995% purity. Hydrogen chloride is also available as part of various specialty gas mixtures used in environmental and industrial hygiene and safety applications.
Hydrogen chloride gas mixtures
Hydrogen chloride in nitrogen gas mixtures are ideal for calibrating CEMs used to measure HCl emissions and are used in conjunction with the US EPA methods listed below. These standards are offered as either Certified Working ClassTM or CEM 2% DAILY STANDARDSTM to maximize your daily CEM performance.
- Methods 26 and 26A determine HCl emissions from combustion stacks, primarily waste incinerators
- Method 321 determines HCl emissions from Portland cement kilns through the use of Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy
Hydrogen chloride gas mixtures are also used for industrial hygiene and semiconductor applications. ACULIFE™ cylinder treatment assures mixture stability and accuracy.
